Abolition Death Penalty of a Prisoner in Karoon Prison

In a ruling on 8 Feb 2015, the death penalty of Sidad Arjomandi is reduced to the life time imprisonment while his family were going to Ahwaz due to the last meeting before the execution.

Sidad was sentenced to the death penalty on the charge of drug trafficking by Revolutionary Court of the regime of Iran that expected the court would uphold his death sentence on 9 Feb 2015.

Sidad Arjomandi, who had been living in Urmia city, is kept in Karoon prison of Ahwaz to serve his life time imprisonment term.

“I am stuck in a sinkhole because of poverty and unemployment” as he had declared, formerly, and impotently asked Human Rights activist to abolish his death sentence.
