Behnam Ebrahimzadeh started a hunger strike with liquids on3 Dec 2014 and he stopped taking liquids on 19 Dec 2014, but the strike is still being continued.

Q;Could you please inform us as to the condition of Behnam Ebrahimzadeh after being on a hunger strike for 27 now?

A;Behnam is still on hunger strike and he was transferred to ward 12 of Evin.

Q;What is his physical condition, after having spent 27 days without food?

A;he does not feel well and is in critical condition, but he is continuing to uphold his demands.

Q;What are his demands?

A; Behnam was the one of the wounded after the attack in ward 350 of Evin on 25 April 2014, by prison guards.  He was accused of participating in the chaos in the prison and communicating the incident and beating to persons outside of the prison. He was beaten by officials while he was being transferred to the court. He was also kept in the ward for criminal prisoners, which is the reason for his complaint, as he is a political prisoner.  His complaint also addresses the issue of the cruel behavior inflicted upon him by Evin guards, while being detained.
