Several recent reports from prisons throughout Iran have upheld a lack of adequate health-care facilities, clean drinking water, and poor nutrition and sanitation.
The following report will also reveal the daily injustice as lack of access to a lawyer, confession under severe torture, Lack of access to phone calling and health treatment and exile to other prisons or cities. It is worth nothing; most of the prisoners that mentioned in this report are deprived of their basic rights as meeting with their relatives’ years and they are kept in the prisons of Iran more than six years.
The prisoners are kept in critical condition as a lack of the political ward (political prisoners are held along with addict prisoners) and pressure to the prisoner’s relatives. Moreover, authorities have made prisoners cases bitter as unrealistically accusation and sentenced them to long-time imprisonments.
Ironically, many prisoners attempt to confront the daily injustices of prison life the only way they can—through hunger strikes. But in turn, these hunger strikes exacerbate existing illnesses and can also lead to new ones.
