Iran: Recently 25 Sunni Ahwazi Activists Detained

Iran�s Security officials had arrested two Arab activists during an attacked at Malashoyeh region in the South of Ahwaz City, Khouzestan province at 2:00 PM on 10th July 2015.

It is the second time in the recent 30 days that the region was raided by Iran�s officials as Karim Dahimi Said. Ali Mansoori, 30, and his brother Yousef Mansouri, 27, detained and taken to an unknown location as a result of their cultural-religious activities.

The locals said that the searching of the operation lasted about two hours in the midnight.  Officials seized Yousef�s personal belongings in the invasion were found at his shop.

On 7th July 2015, the officials also arrested a Sunni Ahwazi activist known as Ammar Abiyawi aged 22, who located in the city of Hamidiyeh as rights groups said. Ammar, who were detained due to his religious activities, were finally released on the bail three weeks ago. On 6 July 2015, five Sunni activists Vassam Faraj Kanani, 26, Abbas Mayahi, 26, Abdullah Obeydavi, 25, Naji Obeydavi and Hamzeh Mayahi were arrested by Intelligence Service officials. On 5 July 2015, a religious converted Abdul-Hussein Sawari, 22, arrested by Intelligence Service officials. There is not any information about his whereabouts, and the relatives said that we concern about the condition. On 29 June 2015, seven Ahwazi activists Mehdi Heydari, 32, Abdul-Hakim Khasraji, 27, Sajjad Alhaei, 19, Heydar Naseri, 29, Ayoub Heydari, Ahmad Badawi and Abbas Badawi, who located in Malashiyeh region, arrested because of their religious activities by Intelligence Service officials. On 30th June 2015, a religious converted Jafaar Silawi, 22, who located in Malashiyeh region, arrested by officials. On 29th June 2015, a Sunni activist Abdullah Sawari arrested due to his religious activities and taken to the Intelligence Service detention. At the beginning of Ramadan, 20th June 2015, seven Sunni activists who located in the cities of Abadan and Khoramshahr  were arrested and transferred to the Intelligence Service detention in the capital of Khouzestan Province Ahwaz as BCR Group mentioned their name as following ; Mohammad Mazhaji, Ahmad Marmazi, Hadi Marwani, Malek Mashali, Ahmad Tamimi, Ali Soleymani and Ali Khalafi.
