No News of Mohammad Amin Agoushi after Having 7 Days on Hunger Strike

Mohammad Amin Agoushi, a retired teacher, has started a hunger strike to protest the lack of health treatment, severe persecution and not being transferring to Zahedan prison on 26 Dec 2014.

Agoushi was taken to solitary confinement, and there is no news of him.

He was arrested along with Iraj Mohammadi and Ahmad Pouladkhani and was accused to spying for Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) and Moharebeh through collaborating with the opposition to the regime of Iran on 2007.

He was transferred to Urmia Central prison after had been spent seven months in solitary confinement. He was sentenced to death by firing squad In Military Court.

The Supreme Court of Iran upheld the initial verdict, but their case had been underway and was referred to branch 1 of Military Court. Therefore, their sentence was reduced to 10 years imprisonment and exile to Zahedan prison.
