Three Sisters Commit Suicide in Capital of Iran

Three sisters, aged 45-50, had reportedly committed suicide through gas asphyxiation in Tehran at night on March 2, 2016, as reported by several government news agencies.

Police officers had apparently learned via a young man voice on a phone call.

Recently, suicide raised because of economic hardship as stocks fall (due to the absence of economic stability), job losing, poverty or social disasters such as victimization of rape, the hopelessness of future, weakness of character, addiction to psychedelic drugs, honor suicide, depression, experts believe.

The victims had allegedly used the most usual method such as self-immolation in public to protest against discrimination, using rice tablet and drug, hanging, gun shot, wrist slashing, household chemical, gas asphyxiation, leaping from skyscrapers, carbon monoxide inhalation, poisoning, according to the reports.

 

Suicide increased 63% in 2012

Official statistics indicate that the suicide rank uplifted 2.1% with the terrible number four thousand and 55 persons.
