59 political prisoners had started a hunger strike to protest against horrible condition as lack of health treatment and inhuman behavior of the Karoon prison�s officials on 14 Nov 2014.  Afterward, they also have refused to meet their family.

The prisoner�s families have reportedly demonstrated to ask officials for handling and accountability on the situation of the prisoners in front of the Khuzestan Bureau of Prisons.
