Intensified Pressure on 29 Kurdish Prisoners

December 6,2014
Urmia Prison officials increase severe pressure to 29 Kurdish prisoners that are on hunger strike since 17 days. On 6 Dec, 2014 officials of the prison asked the prisoners to end their hunger strike.
The blood pressure of some striking prisoners had  dropped, and they  were in the worst  physical condition. They are kept in ward 12 of the central prison of Urmia.
The Kurdish prisoners have started their hunger strike in order to protest for independent political ward and to stop the inhuman attitude of prison officials. In this regard, some prisoners in other prisons have published statements to support the hunger strikers.
