Iran: Alireza Rasouli Taken to the Solitary Confinement

Alireza Rasouli, a political prisoner in Mahabad prison, was teransfferd on the tenth day of his hunger strike on 9 June 2015.

The political prisoner has begun a hunger strike on 30 May to protest against lack of medical treatment and all negligence he has undergone in the Islamic Republic chambers as Campaign to Defend Civil and Political Prisoners in Iran said.

He was previously hospitalized because of increasing lung infection and coughing up blood, whereas, the Intelligence Service officials have refused his demand of heath treatment release and his relatives were frequently threatened by authorities according to the news by rights group.

Ali was arrested along with several activists in Mahabad city on the charge of broadcasting the manifesto in the International Mother Language and participating in the demonstration to support Shinabadi children�s.

�The classroom got fired in the morning 5 Dec 2012 in Shinabad village of the bordering city Piranshahr that 29 students were severely burned.�

The political activist was convicted to three years and half imprisonment on the charge of acting against national security by the Revolutionary Court of Mahabad, afterward, he sentenced again to 91 days in prison with charged illegally way-out of the borders in March 2014.

He was transferred along with Mr. Morovat from Central Urmia prison to the prison of Mahabad on April 2015.
