According to reports, at least 12 Sunni clerics and religious scholars were detained by Iranian security forces in 2015, the Baloch Activists Campaign reported.

 

The name of detainees are as follows:

 

1.    Molavi Abdul-Shakoor Narooei, the headmaster of Manba al-Oloom Seminary in shir Abad of Zahedan city, was arrested by officials in Larestan County of Fars Province in April.

2.    Ahmad Rigi Marishan, the religious scholar of Maki Dar al-Ollom Seminary, was arrested by Intelligence Service officials August 30, 2015.

3.    Saeed Yaripoor, the religious scholar of Manba al-Oloom Seminary in Kooh Van of Sarbaz City, was arrested by Intelligence Service officials, when he was returned to Tehran for vacation, on November 15, 2015.

4.    Molavi Amnollah Dehmardeh, son of Shms al-Din, the religious activist and the headmaster of a school of religious sciences in Dehmardeh village (Khalifeh Golab) of Zabol City, was arrested by Intelligence Service officials on November 5, 2015.

5.    Molavi Amanollah Baluchi, son of Habibullah, the Islamic leadership (Imam) of a mosque in one of the villages in Kishkoor of Sarbaz City, was arrested by Intelligence Service officials on November 19, 2015.

6.    Hafiz Abdul-Rahim Koohi, son of Ibrahim, the religious teacher of Manba al-Oloom Seminary in Kooh Van, was arrested by Intelligence Service officials on November 19, 2015.

7.    Molavi Abdul-Rahim Gorgij was arrested by security forces in his place of residence Golestan Province on October 15, 2015.

8.    Molavi Abdul-Hakim Gorgij was arrested by security forces in his place of residence Golestan Province on October 15, 2015.

9.    Molavi Jome Gorgij was arrested by security forces in his place of residence Golestan Province on October 15, 2015.

10.     Molavi Mohammad Baluch was arrested by security forces in his place of residence Golestan Province on October 15, 2015.

11.     Molavi Alireza Ashtarak, son of Jome, the Friday prayer Imam of Gharavol Village in Kalaleh County, was arrested by security forces on October 15, 2015.

12.     Ibrahim Zarin was arrested by security forces in his place of residence Golestan Province on October 15, 2015.
