Prison's officials had cut the offensives' fingers in Central Mashhad prison yard on 28 June 2015.

The 26-year-old thief M.A was convicted to the Islamic punishment "Cutting Fingers" at branch 136 in the Criminal Court of Mashhad; afterwards the verdict confirmed at branch nine by the Appeal Court.

The second young thief's fingers were also cut at the same time in same place. He was sentenced to the punishment on the charge of ten theft offenses.

Islam and The Quran order hands or fingers to be cut off for theft according to the Islamic Clergymen tales.

An Iranian Human Rights activist who had been experienced in Adelabad prison of Shiraz city said I have personally witnessed and heard harassment of the inmates who were brutally tortured and punished under Islamic Penal Code.

He added that they showed me the marks remained from the tortures, and they would tell me that:"we will be disabled for our whole life".

Hundreds of offenders as well as innocent people are subjected to these Medieval violence in Iran's National Police Force detention centers and authorities have not expressed concern over the inhumane treatment.
