The general director forensics of Mazandaran Province refers the death of Muhammad-Hussein, a 2.5-year-old kid, in the result of child abuse says at least 30 children abuse have been recorded in last ten months, the governmental news agency Mehr reported.

22 boys and eight others were girls, Ali Abbasi declared. He added that Muhammad-Hussein's death body be transferred to forensics department to find out the reason of death in Sari County. The victim died due to brain death after severe hits his mother had undergone him in Bu-Ali hospital. According to what Mr. Abbasi expressed, apparently, his death is caused by hitting a hard object to his skull, or vice versa.

Bruise and burn signs were evident on his body, Mr. Abbasi affirmed.

Child sexual abuse does not always involve physical contact as touching. Iran is one of the 196 countries that have ratified the Convention on the Rights of the Child, but we still are the witness that violence and sexual abuse happen against children in the country.
