Iran: The Court Reduced Its Charge against Nasrin Sotoudeh

Nasrin Sotoudeh, an Iranian Human Rights lawyer, has declared in her Facebook page that the suspension sentence reduced to nine months, she had been convicted to suspension of her license to practice, according to an August 30, 2014 status update on her husband Reza Khandan Facebook page.

She had previously practiced advocacy of several political prisoners who were detained during the uprising after 2009 Iranian presidential election. Afterwards, she arrested on the charge of advocating the clients on 2010.

Finally, the lawyer released along with few outstanding political activists on 2013.
