Two inmates were executed on drug-related charges in Central Lakan prison in the city of Rasht, Gilan Province on 13 June 2015.

The prisoners were identified as E.M, 54-year-old and Q.P, 44-year-old according to the news received by BCR Group.

The offensive, E.M, had been charged with possession of 994 Kilograms of Heroin and Q.P charged with selling, buying, and possessing 24 Kilograms of opium According to the official reports from the Department of Justice in the province.
