Iran: Unknown fate of the Cyber Elite in the Jail

"Authorities have reportedly pursued and oppressed the Iranian students who recognized as productive wings of society since the tenure of the Islamic Republic of Iran in 1979"  BCR Group.

 

Masoud Jaafarabadi, one of the elite student of Amir Kabir University, who was arrested by the Intelligence Service officials on 23 Jan 2010, has been reportedly convicted to death.

Masoud was sentenced to the death penalty at branch 12 in the Supreme Court of Iran on 2013, and officials reportedly accused him on the charge of hacking the security networks of the Intelligence Service.

He was one of the Iran leader cyber advisors and was appointed as TripAdvisor director on 2009.

He also was reached the first grade of the computer field and related technologies in the eighteenth session of Congress and Asian countries researches in Tokyo, Japan on 2006-2007.

Afterwards, Masoud attained to the thirteenth International Festival Elecomp in Germany and gained the second place which led him to be promoted to the high level of Iran's cyber according to the news received by BCR Group.

He was allegedly kept in the solitary confinement about 28 months, where goal of inquisition with inhumane treatment.
